The Face Behind The Brand:

James Green

Events by James focus on building meaningful connections and fostering trust with my clients, I strive to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service every step of the way. From the initial consultation to the final toast on the wedding day, I'm here to guide and support couples as they embark on this exciting journey. I have nearly a decade of experience in the event industry, which is how I've cultivated a passion for creating unforgettable celebrations.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
My journey began in the ex-mining town of Barnsley, South York- shire, where, at first, my dream was to become a professional dancer. After performing in music videos and on cruise ships, I returned to London ready to embark on a new path. Inspired by my background in the performing arts and fueled by a desire to run my own business, I founded Events by James in 2019.

I am also a newlywed, navigating the joys and challenges of marriage alongside my husband, Navi. Our own wedding taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of attention to detail and the lasting impact of personalized touches.
SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ME
MY GO-TO COFFEE ORDER:
If I'm working alone, I’ll have a large latte with dairy milk. If I'm out with friends, I'm more of a flat white kind of guy. In summer, my order is an iced decaf Americano with a splash of oat milk.
3 things I don't leave home without:
My laptop (please don’t mug me), my Air Pods, and my mobile.
Outside of work, you'll often find me:
At home with my husband. I'm a home bird, but I do enjoy a glass of wine with friends at a local bar, as long as it’s within walking distance so I can get back home quickly.
My favourite season:
Autumn, specifically November. I love the crisp air, the orange leaves, and my favourite autumn scent is pumpkin spice anything from Anthropologie. I enjoy bonfires, Parkin cake, and cinnamon in my coffee. Plus, my birthday and wedding anniversary are in November.
A secret talent I have:
I used to be a full-time performer. However, it's not much of a secret if you've scoured my website!
My favourite type of event to plan:
Post-recovery brunches! I love creating and developing concepts tailored to the location and the family. My goal for 2025 is to plan a pool party/Soho House recovery brunch vibe event.
A hobby I enjoy:
I love design and often find myself on Pinterest, daydreaming and escaping into my imagination. I've always been a dreamer, and it’s a comforting escape.
My favourite place to travel:
Home.
