Planning during lockdown presented its challenges, but we overcame them by creating Milly's dream day through detailed online mood boards and virtual meetings. The wedding day featured a civil ceremony followed by a blessing in the onsite chapel, adding a unique and personal touch to their celebration. A highlight was collaborating with One Part Love Bakery for the first time, and their beautiful cake truly stood out. With a colour palette of white and blush pink, the décor exuded elegance and charm. The venue, typically hosting larger parties, felt like a private house for their 30 guests to enjoy, creating a cosy and exclusive experience. The day was a testament to understated sophistication, making it a memorable and cherished event for all who attended.

Nestled within the historic walls of Fulham Palace, the wedding of Milly and James unfolded as a perfect blend of romance and elegance. As the planner directly involved in bringing their vision to life, I had the privilege of designing a day that not only celebrated their love but also highlighted the unique charm of one of London’s most enchanting wedding venues.
Venue Enchantment
Fulham Palace, with its mixture of regal and rustic aesthetics, provided a versatile backdrop that adapted beautifully to the nuances of their celebration. From the picturesque gardens to the architectural grandeur of the palace itself, each aspect of the venue contributed to an atmosphere steeped in history and splendour.
Personal Touches
Understanding Milly and James’s desire for a day that reflected their personalities, I incorporated elements that were uniquely theirs. The colour palette of soft whites and blush pinks brought a gentle warmth to the setting, while bespoke touches like the handwritten vows and custom-designed stationery added a personal layer to the festivities.
