When the invitation arrived for the Wedding Planner Showcase at Two Temple Place, I couldn’t have been more excited. Known for its stunning Gothic Revival architecture and rich history, Two Temple Place is a dream venue for couples searching for a unique and elegant setting for their wedding. As a guest at the event, I had the opportunity to experience first-hand how this iconic venue transforms into a truly magical space.
On Tuesday, 19th November, I arrived at Two Temple Place and was immediately captivated by its grandeur. The warm glow of Bespoke’s lighting design highlighted the architectural beauty of the venue, creating a welcoming and enchanting atmosphere.
The evening began with a stunning floral installation in the drinks and canapé reception, courtesy of Pinstripes & Peonies. Their breathtaking arrangements transformed the space into a floral wonderland that perfectly complemented the historic charm of Two Temple Place.
As I selected my name card, beautifully crafted by Harris & Bloom, I couldn’t help but admire how every detail was thoughtfully designed to enhance the venue’s elegance. The stationery’s refined aesthetic felt perfectly at home in the unique surroundings of Two Temple Place.
Dinner was set across four long tables in the main hall, arranged around a central floral display that added a dramatic focal point to the space. The tableware, provided by Maison Margaux, combined with elegant chairs and glassware from Allens Hire, created a luxurious dining experience. Velvet’s standout furniture added a contemporary edge that balanced the classic beauty of Two Temple Place.
Culinary excellence came from Caper & Berry, whose exquisite menu made the evening unforgettable. From the South Coast Lobster starter to the beautifully plated desserts served in the enchanted library, each dish showcased the talent and creativity of their team. Adding a touch of theatre, Mix & Muddle created innovative cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal.
Music from Euphonica set the tone throughout the evening, with strings adding a sense of sophistication during dinner. The harmonious atmosphere they created enhanced the immersive experience of the showcase.
The event concluded with a beautifully crafted video by Seb Wright, capturing the highlights of the evening and showcasing the stunning versatility of Two Temple Place as a wedding venue.
