The reception for Anna and Tom's wedding was a truly memorable event held at the historic Old Sessions House. Guests enjoyed delightful canapés and champagne served by Social Pantry, setting the tone for an evening of sophistication and joy. The dinner was hosted in the majestic Great Hall, where I collaborated closely with Anna and Tom to bring their vision to life. They desired a relaxed yet refined ambiance that complemented the venue's timeless elegance. Rustic tables served as the foundation of the design, enhanced by flowers chosen to echo the pastel blush walls and the beauty of the season. Long beige runners connected the tables, fostering a sense of unity among the guests as they enjoyed a sumptuous 3-course plated dinner.

When Anna and Tom selected Old Sessions House for their wedding, they envisioned a day of elegance, charm, and personal touches. As a London wedding planner, I was thrilled to bring their dream to life at this unique venue.
Located in Clerkenwell, Old Sessions House is a stunning architectural landmark, blending rich history with beautiful interiors. Its grand facade and sweeping staircase provided a memorable entrance, while the spacious interiors were tailored to reflect Anna and Tom’s style.
The couple wanted a timeless yet intimate feel, so we designed a celebration that complemented the neoclassical beauty of Old Sessions House. The main hall, with its soaring ceilings, became a romantic space featuring a soft palette of blues, corals, and blush pinks, paired with lush greenery to create a fresh, springtime atmosphere.
Dining under the venue’s storied roof, guests enjoyed a menu by Social Pantry, focusing on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients.
As night fell, candlelight transformed the space, casting a warm glow over polished wooden tables and elegant linens. Personalised details like custom stationery added a special touch, guiding guests through the evening’s festivities. Music by Salut Band filled the hall, keeping the dance floor lively.
Anna and Tom’s wedding at Old Sessions House was a celebration of love, beautifully intertwined with the venue’s historic charm. It was a joy to create such a memorable day, proving why this venue is perfect for couples seeking a blend of grandeur and intimacy.
