Overview

Constance and Harry married in the heart of a London December — a morning-suit ceremony at Grosvenor Chapel in Mayfair, then a reception at Two Temple Place lit almost entirely by candlelight.

The brief was warmth over grandeur. Top hats and tails, a feathered gown, sparklers on South Audley Street, and a red Routemaster waiting at the kerb to carry 164 guests across town.

Inside, the house was dressed for Christmas — Lavender Green's garlands and frosted tree, hundreds of candles down the tables, and speeches threaded through the evening so the room never lost its glow.

A mariachi band for the drinks reception, dancing until half past one, and a building that needs nothing added — just the right light. December in London doesn't get better.

A Ceremony at Grosvenor Chapel

Constance and Harry married at half past three at Grosvenor Chapel on South Audley Street — a morning-suit ceremony in one of Mayfair's most storied churches, with sparklers lighting the street as they left.

A Red Routemaster Across Town

At dusk a red Routemaster from The London Bus Company carried guests from Mayfair to the Embankment, while Constance and Harry followed in a classic white cab.

Two Temple Place by Candlelight

Lavender Green dressed the house for Christmas — a frosted tree, garlands on the staircase, and hundreds of candles glowing through the Great Hall. The design stayed warm rather than grand, and the building did the rest.

Dinner and Threaded Speeches

Lettice Events served a three-course dinner for 164 in the Great Hall, with speeches threaded through the evening — before dinner, between courses, and just ahead of the dancing — so the room never sat still for long.

Mariachi, Then Dancing Until Late

Festive Fiesta played the drinks reception, PWE Productions took the floor from ten, and an ice sculpture arrived for the late bar. Carriages weren't until half past one.
