Fulham Palace / The Marylebone
15.08.2026
Overview
Yorieke and Morgan's wedding wasn't a day — it was a weekend. A pre-wedding dinner at Maison François, a welcome party that walked from the Chesterfield Mayfair to Mr Fogg's Apothecary, then Saturday at Fulham Palace, with most guests flying in from the Netherlands.
The day moved through the palace like a story: arrival drinks in the Tudor Courtyard with a roaming acoustic trio, a chapel ceremony that opened with Sinatra and closed with a Dutch love song, then a walk to the Walled Garden — the couple's own boombox playing — for oysters and a mariachi band.
Dinner came back to the Tudor Courtyard, opening with a champagne pop as the couple made their entrance. Speeches were threaded between courses, the band roamed the tables, and the cake was cut before the starters — because why wait?

A Three-Day Celebration
Thursday: an intimate pre-wedding dinner at Maison François with speeches between courses. Friday: champagne at the Chesterfield Mayfair, then a walk through Mayfair — photographed as it happened — to Mr Fogg's Apothecary, where trays of Aperol Spritz were waiting and the father of the bride welcomed everyone to London.
A Chapel Ceremony
Morgan entered to 'The Way You Look Tonight' accompanied by his sister; Yorieke walked in to 'Cruel Summer'. After the blessing, Beyoncé's 'Love On Top' lifted the whole chapel, and the couple walked out to 'Ik Ook Van Jou' — a nod to Yorieke's Dutch family — into a dried-petal toss in red and pink.
Oysters and Mariachi in the Walled Garden
The walk from the chapel became part of the day — the couple's JBL speaker carried ahead of them playing their song. In the Walled Garden: oysters, drinks, and a mariachi trio nobody saw coming.
Dinner in the Tudor Courtyard
The couple entered to a champagne pop (approved by the Palace, which took some doing). Dinner ran as an interlocked sequence — speeches slotted between courses, never during service, with the acoustic trio roaming the tables and a finale set as the wedding cake was served.
Routemasters to the After-Party
At six, guests boarded red Routemaster buses with cocktails in hand for the ride to The Marylebone, where the couple's own DJ took the party late. A London send-off for a Dutch-English wedding.
